WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO
HEAT Essex is a countywide partnership helping residents make their homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient.
The programme is delivered by Happy Energy Solutions Ltd in partnership with Essex County Council, working alongside local councils, community organisations and trusted local installers across the county.
Through government-funded schemes such as the Warm Homes:Local Grant, HEAT Essex helps eligible residents access fully funded home energy improvements. These can include measures such as insulation, solar panels, battery storage and modern heating systems designed to reduce energy bills, improve comfort and make your home more energy efficient.

Lower Your Fuel Bills
Get in touch with us to receive a free, one-to-one Energy Efficiency Assessment. We can start with simple steps to lower your fuel bills or helping you to switch energy supplier to a cheaper tariff. We can also provide simple hints and tips to lower your energy costs and feel warmer. After that, we can discuss your existing insulation, heating and hot water and make some recommendations - possibly leading to a grant to cover the cost of these works
CENTRAL HEATING GRANTS

HEAT Essex is delighted to offer grants to residents for renewable central heating systems, including Air Source Heat Pumps.

LOFT and CAVITY WALL INSULATION
Make Your Home Warmer
HEAT Essex can enhance the comfort of your home by installing loft insulation, as well as cavity wall insulation.
Even if your loft is already insulated, it may not meet the current recommended minimum depth of 300mm (approximately 12 inches). Upgrading to this standard can significantly improve your home's energy efficiency.
